NY Giants Player Pretends to "Pee Like a Dog" Then Gives Black Power Salute After Touchdowns…Takes "Protest" to New Low
New York Giants player Odell Beckham Jr. scored a pair of touchdowns in the team’s 27-24 loss to the Eagles and celebrated the scores in very different ways…Very disgusting ways.
Dailymail.co.uk reported: More than 150 NFL players took the knee during the national anthem on Sunday in defiance of Trump after he called for 'disrespectful' players who refused to stand to be fired.
But it appears that the New York Giants's Odell Beckham Jr. didn't get the memo.
Instead, he chose to use the national day of protest to imitate a dog peeing.
After he scored the first points of the day against the Eagles, making a good fourth-quarter catch in the end zone, he got down on all fours, lifted his leg, and pretended to pee.
'I was in the end zone. I scored a touchdown,' Beckham told the New York Daily News. 'I'm a dog, so I acted like a dog.'
The stunt landed him a 15-yard penalty.
'I didn't know if the rule book said you can't hike your leg,' he said. (The official) said I peed on somebody. So I was trying to find the imaginary ghost that I peed on, but I didn't see him.
'But either way it goes, you play football. I wear red and white. I don't wear black and white with stripes on it. I don't make calls. I just play football.'
The wide receiver scored again a couple of minutes later, but this time, he chose to celebrate the touchdown with a power fist salute. Check out the full story here.
